Ashanti steps out in corset top

Pop star Ashanti has appeared at a popular event wearing a tight black satin dress with a corset top.
Accompanied by other her half Nelly, the singer chose the corset dress to wear to the St Louis Black and White Ball.
Other celebrities who attended the event hosted by Jermaine Dupri and Nelly at the weekend included Janet Jackson, Ruben Studdard and Erykah Badu.
It was not a surprise to see Ashanti in a corset as the media has noted that she has put on some weight of late and a corset can hold in unwanted curves around the waist.
The press did badger the star about rumours of a relationship with record producer Irv Gotti after he boasted to a radio interviewer that they were more than friends when they worked together, but Ashanti said "No comment".
Her publicist asked the press to only ask questions regarding her music and movie appearances. It seems that Ashanti's lips were staying as tight as her corset on the matter.
