Black Eyed Peas bring corsets to casinos

Black Eyed Peas frontman, will.i.am, has been commissioned by Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos to create the new staff uniform for Hard Rock workers.
As well as being a famous star in hip hop, will.i.am is also recognised as a talented fashion designer, having created his own i.am clothing range in collaboration with Lor-e Phillips, head stylist for Black Eyed Peas.
Will.i.am has decided to fit the cocktail waitresses out in corset-style bustier tops and bolero jackets, matched with a short skirt, while croupiers will wear shirts and blouses featuring a tattoo print and silver stud buttons. Meanwhile staff in the front office will don signature shirts with lizard brocades and gunmetal buttons with black pinstriped trousers.
Each of the corseted girls and silver-studded guys will have a slightly different look and the designs are supposed to be artistic yet practical and reflect the rock star look.
The new uniforms can be seen at Hard Rock's two newest projects: Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Biloxi, which will open this July, and Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.
"Designing clothes for Hard Rock Hotels was an exciting and challenging proposition that, given my background and own line, I was eager to accept," will.i.am told Elites TV. "My goal was to create a look that exudes upscale rock 'n roll, leveraging the essence of the brand while contemporising the staff's wardrobe to provide a more stylistic and fashion-forward appearance."
