Carmen dances up corset storm

While corsets have appeared on many of the catwalks at the current New York Fashion Week, a corset was also worn by Carmen Electra as she performed at a show.
The glamour model, singer and actress wore a corset, fishnet stockings and stilettos while performing a sexy dance involving a hoop suspended two feet above the catwalk. She ended her routine by doing the splits.
Yet photographers were surprised to be told that they could not take a snap of Ms Electra under threat of a $25,000 fine.
"Carmen is known for being very gracious to photographers," a spokesman for the star said. "It is not unusual to request approval over photos being shot of a performance, and we requested the [lensmen] who Carmen was most comfortable with. The media was invited backstage to interview and shoot Carmen after the performance."
No stranger to corsets, in the past Carmen formed a burlesque dance troupe called the Bombshells and also performed with the Pussycat Dolls in a guest appearance.
Meanwhile fans can see her soon when Scary Movie 4 hits the screens.
