Carrie Bradshaw dons corset for Sex sequel

Sex and the City is well known for its use of fashion to punctuate stories.
Now, with the second film version of the show in production, it seems the corset is to be used.
Leading lady Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, has been photographed in a corset in an 80s flashback scene.
All of the main characters have been pictured in 80s-inspired outfits of late, but it is Carrie's corset top worn with a check shirt, waist belt and footless tights that seems to be the strangest of the lot.
It is not yet known if corsets will play a part in the rest of the film.
The first film saw Carrie jilted at the altar by her long-term lover Mr Big, although the pair got married at the end of the film.
Rumours circulating on the internet currently suggest that the pair may be heading for a split again due to the constraints of the financial market.
