Chloe Sevigny comfy in corset
May 10, 2007
Actress Chloe Sevigny was spotted out at the Costume Institute Gala at the weekend, where celebrities waltz up the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art as if they were on the red carpet at the Oscars.
A bevy of beauties, including Charlie's Angels stars Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz, all turned out in their best designer frocks to pose for the cameras; but even Liu's violet Zac Posen outfit was not enough to outshine Chloe Sevigny's green Balenciaga gown.
Sevigny told the NY Daily News that she adored her corset-bodiced dress, although the skirt made it a little tricky to navigate in.
"I love the corset, it keeps me all nice and snug in there. The train is what I like least, though, because everyone steps on it," the star told reporters.
It is not the only limelight Sevigny has been in of late - a few days earlier it was announced that she would be featuring in adverts for the new Chloe fragrance, which will be out later this year.
Hopefully, famed photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who will take the shots for the ad campaign, will be able to portray Sevigny as beautifully as she appeared in her corseted dress on her latest night out.
