Comedienne reveals corset past

While Stacey Grenrock Woods is best known for her comedy role in Arrested Development as Trisha Thoon, the comedienne has also worn a corset for Playboy, Los Angeles Times reveals.
Apparently Ms Grenrock Woods was desperate for fame in any form, child-acting at a school that Helen Hunt once attended, interviewing on The Daily Show and even doing a test centrefold shoot for Playboy wearing a corset, which appeared 20 years later.
"I just wanted to be noticed," Ms Grenrock Woods explained. "I wanted only to entertain."
At the age of 20 she posed in a corset for Playboy, but the photographs were rejected. This July the photos emerged as she announced the launch of her new book, I, California. Yet the comedienne remains sanguine: "I don't care, it's just boobs," she said "and it's from a long time ago, like 18 years ago."
These days Ms Grenrock Woods is more used to corsets as four years ago she became the resident sex columnist at Esquire.
However, we are unlikely to see the funnywoman in a corset in the future. "I don't think I want to be famous anymore," she said with a laugh. "I'm myself now. And that self is normal in some ways - and not at all in other ways."
