Corset blouses dominate catwalks

Corset blouses will dominate fashion collections this autumn, according to a leading US news provider.
Highlighting the catwalk trend of lingerie as outerwear, the Examiner has suggested that this fall's on-trend style will be corset dresses, which have featured in shows by Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana and Stella McCartney.
Extra style points can be gained by wannabe fashionistas next season by wearing black lace corset-inspired sheer tops and dresses, which appeared heavily in Collette Dinnigan's recent collection.
In addition, Dolce & Gabbana has premiered its glamour corsets in its latest shows, which are heavily structured and create images of 1920s burlesque pin-up girls.
The San Francisco-based newspaper wrote: "Regardless of what undergarments you currently own
it's clear that underwear belongs on the outside this season."
Earlier this month, Christian Lacroix and John Galliano both launched their autumn/winter ranges at Paris Fashion Week featuring a variety of lace and satin corsets.
