Corset fan Dita spends day at the shops
July 7, 2009
Made to measure corset fan Dita Von Teese eschewed the normal July 4th past-time of eating and drinking and instead went shopping on the holiday.
The burlesque dancer, who appeared with Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year, went out in LA to buy a pair of vintage-looking sunglasses.
Appropriately, the former wife of Marilyn Manson visited the shop Dita Legends to make her purchase.
Ms Von Teese looked resplendent on her shopping trip, wearing a flower embellished dress with a belted waist.
To match the look she wore red shoes and accessorised with a red handbag and her favourite rouge lipstick.
She has led the way recently in a trend for women endorsing their pale skin, with British stars such as Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud and singer Sophie Ellis Bextor embracing the pale look.
Even fellow corset fan Victoria Beckham has ditched the bronzed look and instead favoured a more pasty skin tone.
