Corset-fan and Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts made an unexpected appearance to pick up a £20 music prize last night (September 8th).
The singer, who is famed for her love of fashion and has been seen to wear corsets in the past, turned up to accept the Popjustice Twenty Quid Music Prize at a London Pub.
Speaking to the BBC, the red haired girl band member said that it was "interesting" to hear people discussing all the possible options for the best pop song of the year.
However she was dismayed that she could not actually get her hands on the cash as it was in a plastic container.
"You can't actually spend the money, but it's there on your shelf," she said.
While Cheryl and Nadine from Girls Aloud have taken a year out to record solo material, Nicola is planning on expanding her makeup line for pale girls, Dainty Doll.
