Corset fit for a Prince
July 24, 2007
Prince has appeared on the cover of his latest album dressed in a corset.
On the holographic cover of Planet Earth, Prince is depicted in a half-open red seventies-style shirt and a black corset as he looks down on a vision of the Earth.
A tilt of the cover changes the hologramatic image into the symbol that he used as a name during the 1990s while the corseted Prince and the globe disappear.
It is not surprising to see Prince in a corset as the singer has been known to wear outlandish costumes as part of his act.
Yet the corset that Prince wears here will not have been used as an aid to look slimmer - the star is so tiny that an even tighter corset may have made him disappear altogether.
Prince fans had the chance to get a copy of Planet Earth for free as the Daily Mail gave the album away with it's Sunday edition.
