Corset girls banned for being 'too sexy'
October 11, 2006
Two corset-wearing models participating in a Milton Keynes wedding show were banned from reappearing for being too sexy.
Sporting pink and black leather and silk corsets at the show, held at Thecentre:mk, management ordered that the two models be escorted from the stage amid concerns the outfits were too racy for younger audience members.
The Milton Keynes Citizen quoted Thecentre:mk events manager Jackie Tracey saying: "This was the first time there has been an unexpected departure from the usual format where traditional bridal gowns and suits are showcased on stage.
"The disappointing move by one of the exhibitors is something we would definitely not have permitted had we been aware of the deviation from the planned show.
"This is being viewed in a serious light by centre management as we are concerned about maintaining our reputation."
However, sources revealed that not one complaint had been received regarding the sexy corsets, indicating the public, at least, enjoyed the show.
