Corset receives royal body
October 1, 2007
Princess Beatrice has been wearing a corset recently, as she has been filming scenes in a new film about Queen Victoria.
The 19-year-old landed the role as her mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is an executive producer on the movie.
The Young Victoria will feature the princess as a lady-in-waiting, although she doesn't have a speaking part.
According to the Sun, Beatrice was dressed in a white gown with a tight corset top and headpiece as she filmed at Lincoln Cathedral and told the newspaper: "It's been really fun!"
The great-great-great-great granddaughter of Queen Victoria will be acting with Emily Blunt, as Victoria, and corset fan Keira Knightley's boyfriend, Rupert Friend as Prince Albert.
An insider told the Sun: "She was desperate to be involved. As one of Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting, she will be carrying her train and things like that."
The film's director, Jean-Marc Vallee, said: "Beatrice was wonderful to direct, and was very patient during what can sometimes be a long and arduous process."
