Corset-wearing Emily attends London premiere
March 4, 2009
Emily Blunt looked stunning when she attended the world premiere of her new film, The Young Victoria, in Leicester Square last night, in which she wears a number of traditional corsets.
The British actress plays Queen Victoria in the film, which focuses on the monarch's early years, her ascension to the throne and her relationship with Prince Albert.
It was reportedly the Duchess of York's idea to make the film and she was consequently its co-producer.
She also attended the premiere with her young daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who are the great-great-great-great-granddaughters of Queen Victoria.
Beatrice has a fleeting role in the movie as a lady-in-waiting.
Speaking about her daughter on the red carpet, the Duchess said: "I'm so proud. Every day, I'm proud."
She added: "If you dare to dream, one day your dream can come true. When you're my age you just go for it."
The Young Victoria is released on Friday March 6th.
