Corsets are out for online game launch
January 16, 2007
Over 3,000 computer game fans were out on Oxford Street this week queuing to get their hands on the latest expansion pack for the online game World of Warcraft.
Many gamers took the opportunity to bring their online characters alive and dressed up in medieval fantasy dress with plenty of corsets to be found in the queues.
Corset-wearing 19-year-old World of Warcraft fan Lellini Santanas accompanied by her boyfriend in a warlock costume and dressed as a succubus minion. She said: "It's good to have an excuse to wear a corset!"
Those who had chosen to dress up were given a special reward as they were allowed to get their hands on the game first, proving that, whatever the occasion, there is no better line of attack than to wear a corset.
The World of Warcraft update allows players, for which there are millions around the world, although not all choose to wear corsets while playing, to unlock new races, a new level and an entire new continent.
