Corsets on show at Brits

Last night the music industry's biggest stars proved that corsets are firmly in fashion for 2009 as a number of young female performers wore the figure-hugging contraptions.
Katy Perry showed off her trademark quirky style in a one shoulder black and pink embellished corset, which she teamed with a pair of skin-tight black leather leggings.
Meanwhile Girls Aloud put on a show-stealing performance of their hit song The Promise, which won them their first ever Brit Award for Best British Single.
Cheryl, Sarah, Nadine, Kimberley and Nicola wore sexy gold burlesque corsets which the audience was given glimpses of through huge pink fans in a show that would give Dita Von Teese a run for her money.
The girls, who have been together for seven years, were overjoyed at their win, which saw them beat off competition from the likes of Coldplay, Duffy, Adele and Leona Lewis.
Sarah told the crowd: "Can I just say, it's about time!"
Cheryl added: "This is the cherry on the cake. Have a nice night!"
