Cricketer may return to a corset
January 29, 2007
England cricket star James Anderson could return to his corset-wearing ways - as part of his continued rehabilitation.
The cricketer spent much of last year in a corset as part of his recovery from a spinal stress fracture. Anderson has been restricted to a spectator's view for much of the past year because of the injury, with the corset providing an important part in his recovery.
Now the bowler is back in action and has been one of the few bright sparks in a disappointing Test and One Day series in Australia, but it has been reported that he is once again feeling the stiffness in his back.
Anderson has admitted that the pain is similar to that which he felt before the original stress fracture was discovered, meaning that he could be forced back into a corset and to take time out from his cricket career once more.
However, after having an MRI scan, Anderson told the Daily Telegraph that it was "just a check that everything was OK". So it remains to be seen whether he will be making a return to the corset world in the near future.
