De Niro wears corset as cross-dressing pirate

Claire Danes is not the only star wearing a corset in the new film Stardust, as early reviews reveal that Robert De Niro prances around in a variety of corsets as cross-dressing pirate, Captain Shakespeare.
According to critics Robert De Niro plays the ferocious Captain who pilots a flying ship, but in his private quarters he dresses up in a tutu, a feather boa and corset.
Apart from his predilection for corsets, he also loves playing the piano and, at one point in the film, dances a cancan.
Stardust, based on a novel by Neil Gaiman, has received mixed reviews so far, although De Niro's many fans could probably not resist seeing their favourite actor in a corset for a less serious role than usual
However, critics have mostly panned director Matthew Vaughn's efforts at production in this instance, despite his acclaimed success with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Layer Cake.
