Did Dita love her corset career more than Manson?

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson has been bemoaning the well-documented split from corseted beauty Dita von Teese, claiming that the burlesque star just didn't understand his depression.
Yet he has also admitted in interviews with the Post Chronicle that he may have not played as supportive a role as her corset did in von Teese's burgeoning career.
Manson said that his wife had put her own career on hold in order to support his music in the beginning of the relationship, but he wasn't as prepared to afford her the same favour.
The corset-lover filed for divorce from Manson in December 2006, after just a year of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Whatever the goth rocker says, rumours are still circulating around the papers that the split may have been caused by an alleged extra-marital affair that Manson had with 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood, who he is now openly dating.
