Dita 'has always loved corsets'

Dita Von Teese has said that she has always loved corsets and lingerie.
Speaking to the AFP to promote her new stage show in Paris, the one-time Mrs Marilyn Manson explained that burlesque corsets have always appealed to her tastes.
The 36-year-old brunette explained that her look was inspired by images of pin-up girls from the 30s and 40s.
Although this has had an impact on her style, her interest in fetishism has also shaped how she dresses. Von Teese was keen to point out that fetishism can sometimes be misinterpreted.
"It's also about worshipping femininity and extremes and finding beauty in extremes. That's what always appealed to me," the star explained.
"I always had an interest in fetishism because I like things that exaggerate the feminine form," she said. "Extremely high heels, waist-crunching corsets, all the things that really exaggerate the feminine shape, and long red nails and make-up that's very feminine."
