Dita Von Teese reveals 'underwear obsession'

Burlesque corset fan Dita Von Teese has revealed a long-held passion for lingerie, according to new showbiz reports.
In a recent interview with China Daily, the 36-year-old dancer admitted that her love of underwear from a young age led to her career as an advocate and model for corset art.
"My obsession with underwear is how I ended up becoming a burlesque performer and a pin-up model," she told the news provider.
"I worked in a lingerie store when I was a teenager. I wanted to know the history of lingerie, so I started looking at 30s and 40s lingerie and that's how I discovered the pin-ups from that era. I wanted to be photographed like a pin-up."
Dita shot to fame a few years back, sparking the resurgence of burlesque performance in mainstream entertainment.
She was previously married to goth rocker Marilyn Manson for a year before the couple divorced in 2006.
