Flashdance routine wows BGT audience
May 29, 2009
Britain's Got Talent contestant Fabia Cerra left the competition in style last night (Thursday) after her seductive act failed to secure her a place in the final.
The 35-year-old burlesque dancer performed a routine inspired by 1980s movie Flashdance during the fourth of the competition's semi finals.
Cerra wore a bustier which featured nipple tassels and flashing red, white and blue lights.
She strutted her stuff to the song What a Feeling and even recreated the scene from the movie where the dancer is doused with water.
However, despite her valiant effort to impress the audience and the judges, Cerra did not manage to win.
Saxophonist Julian Smith went through on the public vote, while family singing duo 2 Grand were selected by the judges, including Amanda Holden.
Cerra had promised to don a corset if she had won the show and made it to the Royal Variety performance.
