The Financial Times is not normally noted for its sensual side, but one artist has transformed the newspaper into an outfit.

Old copies of the pink broadsheet have been brought together and made into an amazing skirt and corset arrangement.

British designer Gary Harvey has created the ball gown for London Fashion Week, where it will be displayed, and his decision to use a corset for the top highlights the increasing importance of the corset in the world of cutting edge fashion.

The impressive salmon-coloured outfit will be the headline attraction at the eco-friendly Estethica show, which forms part of London Fashion Week at the Natural History Museum.

The ball gown was originally featured in a special eco-edition of the art magazine, ID.
