Girls Aloud wow Geordie crowd
May 17, 2007
Girls Aloud didn't fail to impress at their latest show at the Newcastle arena when two of the girls performed in eye-popping corset tops.
Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding shimmied in a pair of black corsets teamed with sparkly gold over-the-knee boots. Nadine matched her corset with a pair of tight lycra trousers while Sarah finished off her look with a military style peak cap.
The corseted stars were lowered onto stage on a giant platform before belting out their chart toppers in a 90-minute show to promote their recent Greatest Hits album.
The girls opened with Something Kinda Ooh and worked their way through their most popular numbers, also including a medley of songs from Dirty Dancing and a cover of Tiffany's 1980s smash I Think We're Alone Now.
Those who missed Girls Aloud at Newcastle will have a chance to see them next at a show in Glasgow, where their corsets are sure to set Scottish fans' pulses racing.
