Hollyoaks star reveals corset passion

Hollyoaks star reveals corset passion

Mikyla Dodd, who played Chloe Bruce in Hollyoaks, has revealed that she loved the corseted dress she wore when her character got married in the show.

Speaking to the Scotsman, the soapstar said that her corset dress made her feel really special.

"I've not trotted down the isle but my character in Hollyoaks did. I wore a fabulous two-piece dress," Ms Dodd said. "The bottom was cream with big red roses and net underneath. The top was a cream corset trimmed with the roses - I felt like a princess."

However the actress, who was slated by fashion critics, Trinny and Susannah for her BAFTA outfit one year, which led to her being dubbed "the big girl", does not appear to have realised the corset's potential for tucking away unwanted bulges.

She revealed that on a night out she wears a full body stocking to control her curves. "It's not the sexiest of looks when your dress comes off, but it is a necessary evil," she admitted.
