Indian admiration for corset

An Indian designer has revealed that the corset top is set to fly off boutique shelves this summer due to the versatile nature of the garment.
Corsets are suitable for casual wear or a glamorous evening outfit, Riyana Singh says, and will match equally well with a pencil skirt or a fitted pair of jeans.
"You need to be toned and fit to carry a corset top with elan. In case you dont possess those perfect measurements, but nevertheless, are on the slimmer side, a spot of clever tailoring should do the trick," the designer advised the Indian Express.
"A bare neck is the single most becoming accessory for a corset," said Ms Singh.
Indian model Bhavna Singh backed the designer's claims saying that her baby pink corset teamed up with blue jeans is her favourite summer outfit
"It has so much attitude. I wear a delicate, star shaped diamond on my neck which has been strung along an almost-invisible choker neckpiece. Throw in an eclectic bag in hot-pink and blue, and you have a look to die for," she said.
The Indian Express also advised corset fans to avoid department stores and go for independent corset retailers as they are more likely to have a better range and will often be able to make adjustments to fit your figure.
