Kiera's corsets on display
February 2, 2009
Corsets worn by Kiera Knightley in a recent film are to go on display in Derbyshire.
The corset dresses worn by the star in The Duchess are to be added to an exhibition at Kedleston Hall.
Several scenes from the film were shot at the National Trust property, with the organisation planning to boost its behind the scenes display for this summer.
The Duchess tells the real-life story of Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire who was known for her fun-loving lifestyle and fashionable clothes.
Several of the costumes from the film, or associated with the real-life lady have been on show at Kedleston as part of the original exhibition which opened in August.
However, when the house re-opens later this month, visitors will be able to view several previously-unseen items, including the wedding dress worn by Knightley in the film.
A total of 12 costumes will be on show at the house, in rooms featured in the film, from February 28.
