Kylie feels sexy in corset belt
October 29, 2007
On the eve of her 40th birthday, Kylie Minogue has appeared on the cover of Q magazine looking sexy in a corset belt and insisting that she feels better than ever.
The pop princess shows that she embraces her feminine form even as she reaches her 4th decade, by wearing a sequined top, which has strategically-placed sequins to suggest breasts plus a metal corset belt with traditional corset lacing matched with a tight black satin pencil skirt.
Her choice of outfit highlights the fact that she has overcome a tough battle with breast cancer, plus the corset belt emphasises that she has not lost touch with the latest fashion trends, despite her advancing years.
Ms Minogue suggested that she still feels sexy in a corset even as she reaches the age of 40, and is even looking forward to the landmark birthday. The superstar told Q magazine: "I'm not scared of turning 40 - I think it's going to be quite liberating."
"I've always heard that as a woman, 49 is when you really come into your own and I think it's happening," she added.
It seems any fears that Kylie's corset days are over can now be cheerfully dispelled. Her creative collaborator and 'gay husband' William Baker recently told the Sun that 2008 would mark an extra-special world tour.
"I'm heading back into the studio with Kylie in February to start training for the tour we want to do in June," Mr Baker said. "It's going to be fabulous."
Before we find out whether the tour will feature corsets among the other elaborate stage costumes, Kylie fanatics can enjoy her comeback single 2 Hearts, which will be released shortly.
