Kylie's corset on display
January 15, 2007
Pop queen Kylie Minogue's clothes are going on show at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
The diminutive star, who has just been voted the world's best dressed celebrity by Glamour magazine, has donated a wide selection of her wonderful costumes from her career.
The items span two decades of Kylie, from her early beginnings as an unknown actress on Australian soap, Neighbours, to international stardom and some fantastic outfits.
Among the items on show will be the iconic denim dungarees she wore as Charlene in the soap which made her a household name, as well as some more sensual garments such as corset dresses.
On display will be the pink silk corset dress that the star wore at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, reports the Daily Mail.
Kylie has recently returned to her Showgirl tour, following treatment for breast cancer, although has had to pull out of a number of shows in the UK this week after falling ill with a chest infection.
Doctors have assured the world that her current illness is not linked to the cancer and she should be back on stage in the near future, meaning there should be plenty more opportunities to see a corseted Kylie.
