Kylie's corsetastic return to the stage

Kylie Minogue made her triumphant return to the stage in Sydney on Saturday night, 18 months after she was first diagnosed with breast cancer.
Performing in front of a sell-out 10,000 crowd at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, the diminutive Aussie star looked resplendent in a pink feathered headdress and flowing gown, topped off with a bejewelled pink corset.
She kicked off the first leg of her Showgirl Homecoming Tour with a performance of Better The Devil You Know before following up with dance smash In Your Eyes, as well as her new song, White Diamond, a collaboration with The Scissor Sisters.
A lively Kylie also sang all-time favourites such as On A Night Like This, Shocked, Spinning Around and Confide In Me.
However, while Kylie put in an energetic performance her dance routines were nevertheless more restrained than many are used to, the result of her illness rather than any restrictive effects of wearing a corset.
Kylie will follow her performance in Sydney with shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, before heading back to Europe, with dates in the UK from January 2nd.
