Lily wears corset for comeback gig
January 30, 2009
Lily Allen made a fashion as well as a musical comeback for her gig in Koko on Wednesday night by wearing a stylish black satin corset teamed with a pair of gold sequinned shorts and six-inch high heels.
The singer was promoting her new album, It's Not Me, It's You and she also showed off her slimmed-down figure in the flattering outfit.
Celebrity friends including supermodel Kate Moss, producer Mark Ronson and friend Jamie Winstone cheered as the singer took to the stage after a long break from performing.
But while Lily might have been more than comfortable enough to belt out some of her biggest hits in the corset, she was not so at ease with her vertiginous shoes.
Radio 1 quoted her as telling fans: "I can't wait for these photographers at the front to leave so I can take these shoes off. I can't dance in them!
"I'd do anything for you guys, except dance in those shoes!"
