Lily wears corset for London gig
May 31, 2009
British songstress Lily Allen is often spotted wearing fancy dress costumes while performing and a gig in London earlier this month was no exception.
The 23-year-old appeared on stage in Notting Hill dressed as Queen Victoria, with her outfit including a traditional corset.
Allen also wore a full Victorian skirt, sheer blouse, wig and tiara to complete her royal look.
However, she removed the wig quite quickly after she started singing.
The young starlet was performing at the Tabernacle, a converted church where she first appeared on stage as a child.
Her gig had a London Underground theme and many people in the audience worse costumes inspired by stations on the tube network.
After she finished singing 'Never Gonna Happen', Allen commented: "I've never sung in a corset, it's quite hard."
