More on show than Madonna's corset shots
August 9, 2007
While we have all seen Madonna in various states of undress including in an underbust corset and even completely topless in her coffee table book Sex, it seems that Madge is not prepared to expose herself any more.
Madonna's solicitors are currently fighting to prevent a collection of saucy photos being sold to the highest bidder, especially as she is in the process of attempting to adopt a Malawan baby.
The seven photos include shots she took of herself naked and in suggestive poses, while 17 love letters and Madonna's underwear are also in a lot up for sale.
James Albright, with whom Madonna had a two-year relationship in the early 1990s, has sold the items, which Madonna sent him, to Marquee Capital, a firm which specialises in her memorabilia.
The company will now sell the items to whoever will offer the most money unless Madonna's lawyers can prove that it would constitute a breach of her privacy and copyright.
It looks like we will not see any more sexy corset action from the superstar for a while, as she is trying to convince the head of Malawi's child welfare service of her homeliness when she receives a home visit regarding the permanent adoption of David Banda.
