Mrs California chooses corset

In a bid to become Mrs United States, the current Mrs California, Tracie Stafford, is relying on a corseted top, which she hopes will help her to win the title.
The 41-year-old businesswoman and mother of four from Sacramento is currently preparing for her trip to Las Vegas on July 8th where she will represent California in the Mrs United States pageant.
To qualify for the Mrs United States competition, candidates must be at least 21 years old and married, so for the older lady, the support of a corset is always valuable.
Although she told Scene she was delighted with her fitted, sherbet-hued interview suit, finding the right gown is always tricky.
"It's kind of daunting, the choice of gown, because I can't wear the same one I wore for Mrs California. The judges will already have seen me in it," she said.
Although Mrs California feels she is too mature to wear anything off the shoulder, she will be sporting some extra support.
Of the styles she's tried on her favourite gowns are those that feature a corseted top. "It's hard to go wrong in a corset," Ms Stafford said.
