Paquin 'grew up' amid corset fame

Anna Paquin has said in an interview that her early acting career was shaped by roles in 'corset movies'.
The 24-year-old actress has worn corsets in many of her roles in period pieces such as The Piano and Jane Eyre.
"For the first couple of years of my career, I thought I would be doing corset movies the rest of my life," Paquin told Scripps news.
Now she is starring in another period drama, Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee, which is set to run on US channel HBO.
The next time she dons a corset, it may need to be a bigger one as the actress has become a woman since she first started acting. "The best thing about growing up on film is that you can't do the same [roles] over and over because you are always [growing physically]," she said.
Paquin is unlikely to be snapped by photographers in a revealing corset a la Britney Spears, as she is not known for being a fan of parties.
"That's not really a lifestyle I covet," she explained. "I don't need to be photographed all the time. I'm not a fan of it."
