Perry Farrell's corset addiction
June 15, 2007
Former Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell appeared onstage at the Wireless festival in Hyde Park sporting a corset.
Appearing with his new band, Satellite Party, Farrell was supported not only by the old Jane's Addiction fans, but also by the corset, as he kicked off with his former band's classic Been Caught Stealing.
Farrell has always been known for courting controversy and an outlandish dress sense, especially when he fronted Porno for Pyros.
Although The White Stripes were clearly the fans' favourite musically, with renditions of hits such as Seven Nation Army and their infamous cover of Joelene, it was probably Perry's corset that stole the show.
Satellite Party's line-up includes another legend in lead guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, who used to play with Extreme.
Fans can look out for Satellite Party as they play a number of upcoming gigs, including the Melkweg in Amsterdam and the Hurricane Festival on June 22nd.
