Portly Tom Cruise used a corset for wedding

Tom Cruise needed to wear a corset to help him fit into his wedding suit, a top US gossip columnist has claimed.
According to Janet Charlton, Tom Cruise is a nervous eater and piled on more than a stone ahead of his wedding, a fact he declined to mention to Georgio Armani, the suit's designer.
Armani was reportedly livid that he had not been informed that the Top Gun star's measurements had ballooned, forcing the diminutive star to take drastic action.
"Tom packed on around twenty pounds in the past few months before the big event. He says he's a 'nervous eater'," Janet Charlton quoted a source at Armani saying.
"When Tom arrived in Rome, we hear that Giorgio Armani was apoplectic because the wedding tux was too small.
"Tom wanted to look svelte so he didn't protest when Giorgio suggested girdling Tom's midsection so the jacket would fall properly. The corset was sewn into Tom's undergarment."
