Pussycat doll not giving up corset
October 23, 2007
It has been rumoured in many gossip columns that Asia Nitollano has hung up her corset and left the Pussycat Dolls, due to wanting to branch out on her own.
However, corset fans will be relieved to know that Ms Nitollano has scotched the tittle-tattle in a post on her official myspace web page.
She confirmed that she will be involved in the girl group's forthcoming album and tour in an online statement.
Her message read: "Hey guys! It's been quite a while since I have logged on here, but I have been reading through all my comments and my final answer to if I'm still a PCD is .... YES! I'm still a PCD! I will be joining them in their next album and the next tour!
"Make sure you come back to check for further details! Any questions please feel free to ask. With all the love & god bless, Asia Nitollano."
So we can all expect some more mischief-making from Asia as well as the other Pussycat Dolls members next year, if last year's antics are anything to go by.
The group caused controversy in corsets in Malaysia in July 2006, picking up a $2,900 from Kuala Lumpur city council for their concert promoter Absolute Entertainment for violating the country's onstage performance dress code and performing "suggestive" dance moves.
Even Gwen Stefani dropped the corset that is usually part of her tour to comply with the dress code for her sold-out show in Kuala Lumpur this August, but it seems none of the current Pussycat Dolls are tempted to hang up their corsets any time soon.
