Rihanna named Glamour Woman of the Year

Celebrity glamour corset fan Rihanna has been voted Woman of the Year by Glamour magazine in the US.
The 21-year-old singer collected the award at a star-studded ceremony in New York, confirming her status as a positive role model for young women and female fans around the globe.
Accepting the accolade, Rihanna said: "I love being a part of a night where we're celebrating women and such strong women.
"I really look up to my granny and my mum. They are my two women of the year. They've shown me what strong women can accomplish and achieve. Without their unconditional love and guidance, I wouldn't be here."
Rihanna often wears stylish party corsets and corset jewellery while performing on stage or when filming her chart-topping music videos.
The young starlet has released four studio albums to date, since launching her singing career back in 2005. She has has a string of hit records including Umbrella, SOS and Take a Bow.
