Romola Garai: I've become a corset geek

British actress Romola Garai has admitted that period corsets have become a staple aspect of her working life.
The 27-year-old starlet is commonly associated with period dramas, having starred in a host of well-known titles including Nicholas Nickleby, The Incredible Journey Of Mary Bryant and Vanity Fair and over her nine-year career in showbiz.
Recently commenting on her latest role in the new BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma, Romola said: "It's become a joke in my own life that I now associate going to work with wearing a corset."
In an interview with the Daily Record, she also added: "I've become an expert on corsets through the ages ... Basically, I've become a corset geek."
Romola received high industry acclaim for her stand-out performance in 2003 movie I Capture the Castle.
Actor Jonny Lee Miller, who was briefly married to Angelina Jolie, will co-star alongside the actress in the four-part TV adaptation of Emma.
