Rupert Friend 'wore corset for film'

British actor Rupert Friend has revealed that he wore a corset for a while on the set of his new film, The Young Victoria.
The 27-year-old plays Prince Albert in the movie about Queen Victoria's early years.
He stars opposite Emily Blunt as Victoria, who recently revealed that she wore traditional corsets throughout filming.
Speaking about the period costumes, Friend, who is dating Keira Knightley, said: "I think guys have it a lot easier than women in these films, but I did wear a corset for one scene, although with tight trousers I don't think you should necessarily discount the discomfort of a pair of braces pulling them up underneath.
"There was a pair of tight trousers and a wig and I sort of stepped into those and did my best to become Albert. That was it really."
Friend also said that he was more than happy to play second fiddle to his famous girlfriend, asserting that the true definition of a man is someone who is able to accept that his partner is more successful than him.
