Spice Girls make record-breaking comeback
October 2, 2007
London's corset fans will be treated to three extra dates on the Spice Girl's world tour after the concert sold out in just 38 seconds.
Apparently after announcing the comeback concert wearing a set of sexy corsets, fans could not contain themselves at the thought of the new shows.
Over a million people in the UK registered for the December 15th show at London's O2 Arena, but many missed out on tickets.
Some 20,000 successful applicants were sent an email or text message telling them that they could collect their tickets the next morning.
But more corset and pop music fans will still get the chance to see the girls, as new dates have been announced for December 16th and 18th and January 2nd.
Their new tour begins in Vancouver and visits major cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Shanghai, Madrid, Beijing and Cape Town.
There could also be corsets at Christmas, as Ladbrokes is offering 1-4 odds on a new number one single for the Spice Girls this year as well as 3-1 on them achieving the top spot at Christmas.
