A renowned acting teacher has been waxing lyrical about the benefits of wearing a corset.
According to Howard Fine, whose students have included the likes of Brad Pitt and James Belushi, a corset can be of particular use when attempting to win a part, because it can considerably change your posture.
This is important to note when attempting to win a role in a period piece, where corsets will often be worn, Mr Fine told acting magazine, Back Stage.
This approach could be taken for any interview, suggesting that wearing a corset could be the ideal way to secure a crucial job, thanks to the strict posture it can give you.
Modern corsets have a sensual feel to them, meaning that not only will you look in good shape, with good posture, you will also feel great, helping to give you the confidence you need.
