Von Teese made up to support Mac
June 26, 2007
Londoners will have the chance to catch corset fan Dita von Teese when she makes an appearance at the Mac make-up counter at Selfridges in Oxford Street on June 28th.
Corset fans from Manchester will also be able to take a snap with the burlesque superstar as she appears on the Mac counter in Selfridges in Exchange Square the following day.
Although sources could not confirm whether or not the burlesque diva would be sporting a corset, she will be performing one of her famous routines at an exclusive ticketed event at a Mac party to be held on Wednesday in the capital.
She will also be presenting a £50,000 cheque to Brookes Charity on behalf of the MAC Aids Fund.
Since last September, Ms Von Teese Dita has acted as a spokeswoman for MAC's Viva Glam campaign to increase awareness and money for the MAC Aids Fund, which donates profits from the sales of Mac's Viva Glam lip products to help people whose lives have been affected by HIV and AIDS.
Meanwhile, Von Teese swapped her corset for some saucy underwear, when she modelled lingerie from Peach John's new collection in Tokyo last week.
