Wang corset becomes season must-have

A corset-inspired dress created by the designer Alexander Wang has become this season's must-have wardrobe item.
Hollywood film premiers and New York's most exclusive restaurants have been filled in recent months by young starlets wearing the cream and black corset dress from the American fashion designer's Pre Fall 2009 collection.
Pop-princess Rihanna was first to be pictured in the piece a couple of months ago whilst dining in the Big Apple, where she accessorised the piece with Jill Sandler shoes.
Air-headed hotel heiress Paris Hilton then appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman wearing the figure-hugging number a couple of days later - before the Disney actress Demi Lovato attended the premier of Princess Protection Program in the season-defining number.
Alexander Wang has been a rising star within the fashion world over the past couple of years - picking up a nomination from the Council of Fashion Designers of America for his women's' wear collection in 2008.
