Corset-loving Dita reveals acting ambitions

The world certainly seems to be Dita Von Teese's oyster at the moment and the overbust corset-loving beauty recently revealed that she would love to move from burlesque to acting.
Dita is widely credited for having brought the art of burlesque to the mainstream with her tantalising routines, which often see her strip down to her lingerie in a giant martini glass.
The 36-year-old raven-haired star has become a Hollywood fixture of late and she recently appeared at the Montblanc Signature for Good Charity Initiative Gala at the Paramount Studios in Los Angeles wearing a cream corset dress, where she mingled with actresses including Eva Longoria, Sienna Miller and Helen Hunt.
Speaking at the event, which is one of the many lavish parties that takes place around the Oscars, ambitious Dita revealed that she intends to make the leap to the silver screen in the near future.
"By the Oscars in two years' time, I want to have written my own movie script, produced it and starred in it," she said.
